Shinghvi said, "May I completely answer with a hypothetical question? Suppose in a case, people have simply defected. They walked to the other side, and the governor asked for a floor test. Will this not blow away the tenth schedule to smithereens?"
"These people can just also move a no-confidence against the Speaker which may disable the speaker from deciding their disqualification. Why should the governor have a floor test tomorrow after having met with the leader of opposition, and without calling the CM?" he added.
