Protests erupted in Maharashtra towns of Aurangabad and Solapur demanding action against BJP’s suspended spokesperson Nupur Sharma over her remarks against Prophet Mohammed that widespread condemnation.
Additional police teams have been sent to disperse the crowd. Nupur Sharma also faces an FIR in Thane district.
