“Complete destruction of cultural values, traditions and whatever is considered good and auspicious is a part of the modus operandi of this group,” Dr Bhagwat said while addressing the annual Vijayadashami gathering in Nagpur.

“Bringing the systems and institutions that shape the mind of the society under their influence and destroying the thoughts, values and faith of the society through them is the first step of this modus operandi. By fanning discontent, that component is made radical against the system and is separated from the rest of the society,” said Dr Bhagwat.

“Direct conflicts are created by finding fault lines in the society. An atmosphere of anarchy and fear is created by intensifying distrust and hatred towards the system, law, governance, administration etc. This makes it easy to establish their supremacy over that country,” the Sarsanghchalak said.
