This campaign, which is being managed by a sympathiser of India Against Corruption, is aimed at mobilising people against the Congress-led UPA government’s stand on the issue. The movement which has been heavily relying on the modern communication tools is also running a campaign of receiving 25 crore missed calls in support of the proposed Bill.
“This is a huge network. We cannot send SMS to all of them. They contact each other when there is any programme,” says leader of India Against Corruption Manish Sisodiya.
“The campaign of receiving 25 crore missed calls in support of the Lokpal Bill has been a tremendous success and it costs us nothing,” reveals Sisodiya. For this, the India Against Corruption has invited free creative volunteers.
The campaign is to run up to June 28.
