Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on May 18 said that ex-TMC leaders Mukul Roy and Suvendhu Adhikari should also be questioned in Narada scam, if other TMC ministers are getting arrested.
"Bengal is currently under lockdown and everyone should understand the situation. One needs to leave politics for some time and should help the people of Bengal. Recently, Mamata Banerjee's younger brother died of coronavirus. Thousands of people are suffering from the disease.
Narada scam, in which ministers or MLAs of Mamata government got arrested, other big BJP leaders who were earlier in TMC are also connected, namely Mukul Roy and Suvendhu Adhikari. Then, why they are saving them? If you want to take legal action, then everyone should be treated equally. CBI should not take legal action by looking at the party," Raut said.
In the ongoing investigation in the West Bengal's Narada scam, Trinamool Congress Ministers Firhad Hakim, Subrata Mukherjee, MLA Madan Mitra and Former Mayor of Kolkata Sovan Chatterjee were taken to Presidency Jail.
