The Congress on Monday accused the government of insulting Parliament by not holding a discussion on the no-confidence motion moved by the opposition and instead bringing bills in the House.
Congress leader in the Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said the government should first hold a discussion on the no-trust motion. He also urged the ruling party MPs to visit violence-hit Manipur and understand for themselves the situation there.

Union Minister Anurag Thakur said, "I request them to come inside Parliament and participate in discussions. We want discussions from day 1. What is stopping them (Opposition) from holding talks?... They only run away from discussions rather than taking part in them...This clearly shows that they are doing politics..."

BJP high command has brought in services ordinance to destroy Delhi government, says AAP MP Raghav Chadha
AAP MP Raghav Chadha said, "This ordinance that will be introduced in the Parliament today is undemocratic. This is not just against the Constitution of the country but also against the 1.2 crore people in Delhi. The BJP has understood that they are finished in Delhi so their high command has taken this decision to destroy the Delhi government."
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has issued three-line whip for all its Rajya Sabha MPs to be present in the House from July 31 to August 4.
The Opposition will also demand the immediate taking up of the no-confidence motion against the Modi government, a notice for which approval was given last Wednesday.
