"Tada" Aslam, undergoing life imprisonment in connection with the case, was shifted to Salem jail this morning from the jail here to Salem prison.
The memorandum requested the collector to intervene immediately and bring back Aslam to the jail here as it would be difficult for the relatives to visit him in a far away place.
They said would resort to agitation in a democratic way if the adminstration failed to bring back the prisoner to Coimbatore.
Senior jail authorites here were not immediately available for comment.
