A Pune court on Friday rejected the bail plea of three human rights activists arrested for Maoist links.
Special Judge KD Vadane of the Shivajinagar court of Pune, who presides over UAPA cases, rejected the plea of Sudha Bharadwaj, Vernon Gonsalves and Arun Ferreira.
The three are currently under house arrest as per the orders of the Supreme Court.
They were arrested on 28 August along with revolutionary writer P Varavara Rao and Gautam Navlakha for their role in the 31 December 2017 Elgar Parishad and 1 January 2018 Koregaon Bhima caste riots.
