Sonu Sood was trying to enter a polling booth in Moga Constituency. During this, his car was confiscated and he was sent back home. Speaking on this incident the actor levelled a serious allegation that money was being distributed at some polling booths. On top of that, he demanded free and fair polls.
“We got to know about threat calls at various booths by the opposition, especially the people of Akali Dal. Money was being distributed at some booths. So it's our duty to go check and ensure fair elections. That's why we had gone out. Now, we are at home. There should be fair polls,” the actor said.
His sister, Malvika Sood, is contesting from Moga as a Congress candidate. The results of the Punjab Assembly Elections will be declared on March 10.
