Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi would be interacting with party workers here tomorrow during his one-day visit to the city.
As the Mumbai Congress has been without leader for a year now, party sources said they expected Rahul to expedite the decision on appointment.
This would be Rahul's first visit after he became Vice President of Congress. His meetings with party office-bearers and leaders here would be attended by Maharashtra Congress chief Manikrao Thakre and Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan as well as Congress ministers from Mumbai.
Thakre said Rahul would be also separately meeting leaders from the six district units in Mumbai.
The party has not yet found replacement for Kripashankar Singh, who has faced accusations of corruption and resigned as city unit president after the Congress's debacle in the civic elections last year.
