Leading from the front, Congress President Rahul Gandhi addressed 82 rallies since October 7 when elections were announced for Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Mizoram, Telangana and Chhattisgarh assemblies.
Rahul addressed 25 election rallies and took out four roadshows in Madhya Pradesh where Congress is locked in a keen battle to oust the BJP which is ruling the state since 2003.
The Congress President addressed 19 public meetings each in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan.
In Chhattisgarh, Rahul took out a roadshow in Rajnandgaon, from where Chief Minister Raman Singh is seeking a fourth term in office.
In Rajasthan that goes to polls on Friday, the Congress President took out a 100-km roadshow from Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje's home turf Jhalawar to Kota.
In Telangana, which also goes to polls on Friday, Rahul addressed 17 public meetings with his speeches focusing on agrarian distress and the “failure” of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's government.
In Mizoram, the Congress President addressed two public meetings in support of Chief Minister Lalthanhawla who is seeking another term in office.
