Tamil superstar Rajinikanth has been admitted to Apollo Hospitals and is likely to undergo an elective procedure today. The 73-year-old actor was rushed to the hospital on Monday night.
Sources said the actor’s condition was stable. “The elective procedure would be performed in Cath lab,” a source in the hospital said.
Chief Minister M K Stalin wished speedy recovery to the superstar, whose film Vettaiyan is to be released next week.
An elective procedure has now been done by Dr Sai Sathish, Dr Vijay Chandar & Dr Balaji. Rajinikanth has been moved to a ward for observation.
