Despite restrictions in several parts of Srinagar, separatists again unfurled Pakistan flags in the city on Friday.

Reports said Pro-Pakistan activists from Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) unfurled the flags and sang its national anthem on the neighbouring country’s Independence Day in Buchpora area on the outskirts of the city.

Militant-turned-human rights activist Ahsan Untoo wearing green clothes inscribed with greeting for Pakistan Independence Day was seen distributing sweets among commuters around City Center Lal Chowk.

Reports of appearance of Pakistani flags were also received from several areas of old city Srinagar where restrictions under Section 144 had been imposed in the jurisdiction of seven police station areas.
