Three teenagers from Chennai drowned in a dam in Pune district on Wednesday while attending a summer camp.
They were part of a team of around 20 students - 16 boys and four girls - from ECS Matriculation School, Chennai, who arrived in Mulshi taluka for a summer camp, along with four teachers.
The students and teachers went near the dam at the end of the first day of the camp on Wednesday.
The victims are Danish Raja, Santhosh K and Sarvana, all aged 13. So far, Raja's body has been recovered.
"The camp was organised by an NGO. We are looking into the details," a police officer said.
