An ex gratia of Rs 10 lakhs to the family of the deceased, Rs 2.5 lakhs for grievous injury and Rs. 50,000 to those with minor injuries have been announced. Apart from a CRS enquiry, a high-level enquiry has been ordered, the Ministry of Railways said.

PM, Railway minister must take responsibility for 'lapses': Congress on UP train accident
