Cracks appeared in Congress over the party’s alliance with the Left Front and the Indian Secular Front (ISF) in West Bengal as State Congress President Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury lashed out at senior party leader and former Union Minister Anand Sharma for his criticism of the alliance.
Kishor is working as a key strategist for the ruling TMC in West Bengal, with the state set to witness an eight-phase Assembly election starting March 27. He has worked for a number of anti-BJP parties in different Assembly polls over the last few years.
The Northeast Delhi MP, who hails from Bihar, said leaders from the state should stop treating its people as their vote bank in other states.
