Questions are being raised about what a 'working day' is for administrators appointed by the court in various units under the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
The Indian Express said that for 48 working days across five months, two administrators in Mumbai were paid a total of Rs 1.18 crore. Watching an IPL match constituted a working day for them.
Two administrators in Hyderabad were paid a total of Rs 75 lakh for 30 working days.
This variation in scale of pay also resulted in the BCCI's Committee of Administrators - Diana Edulji and Vinod Rai - not getting paid from the time they took over.
