Liverpool brushed aside their domestic woes to beat RB Leipzig 2-0 in their Champions League last-16 second leg on Wednesday and cruise into the quarter-finals.

The six-time European champions, who had lost six straight home games, were perhaps grateful the match was played in Budapest instead of at Anfield, and second-half goals from Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane secured a 4-0 aggregate win.
