RNS Institute of Technology ended runners-up among the boys with two wins and a loss. In the girls’ section, RV College of Engineering (RVCE) emerged champions after winning their three matches. MSRIT finished runners-up as they won their final league match beating New Horizon College of Engineering (NHCE) 25-21, thereby registering two wins out of three matches.
In the MSRIT-MIT clash, the former were in control of the match from the early stages. Vijay and Anand tormented the MIT defence with their precise passing and shooting as MSRIT opened a healthy 9-2 lead in the first quarter before stretching the margin to 20-14 at the end of second quarter.
The third quarter saw complete domination from MSRIT as Siddarth and Adeesh were in attacking mode. The duo’s swift passing coupled with pin-point shooting helping the hosts extend the lead at 30-19 and they took the match with ease after dominating the fourth quater.
