Batting first, Australia cruised to a competitive 179 for eight in 20 overs and had Windies in all sorts of trouble before bundling them out for 141.

Denesh Ramdin (44) and Runako Morton (40) were the major contributors to the West Indian innings as Nannes (3/21) and Tait (3/30) breathed fire right through. Mitchell Johnson (2/28) chipped in with two wickets.

Tait and Nannes ripped the cream of Caribbean top order batting line up to set up an easy win for home team.

Earlier, Shane Watson (37) gave Australia the start they were looking for, once again, but it was David Warner’s 32-ball 49 runs that gave hosts the needed momentum.

Brad Haddin, coming in at number seven, sent the ball racing to all parts of the ground as he muscled 37 runs out of 16 balls to further extend Australia’s dominance over visitors.
