Apple Arcade is all set to welcome 15 new games on its platform starting Christmas holidays in December.

Early next month, on December 5, six titles-- Talking Tom Blast Park (by Outfit7), Boggle: Arcade Edition (by Zynga), PAC-MAN 256+ (by Bandai Namco and Hipster Whale), Hot Wheels: Race Off+ (by Hutch Games), Barbie Color Creations+ (by StoryToys) and Little Cities: Diorama (by nDreams) will make their way to Apple Arcade.

Little Cities: Diorama is a Vision Pro exclusive title. It is a classic city-building immersive spatial game. It supports intuitive hand gesture controls and bubble-popping UI. While crafting bustling shops, industry, housing and all manners of attraction, players can lean in and see their diorama creations come to life.

On January 9, at least seven titles such as Skate City New York (by Snowman and Agens), Three Kingdoms HEROES (by Koei Tecmo), Final Fantasy+ (by Square Enix), Trials of Mana+ (by Square Enix) Rodeo Stampede: Sky Zoo Safari+, It’s Just Mowing+ and Gears & Goo by Resolution Games (for Vision Pro only) will make their debut on Apple Arcade.

On December 9, Square Enix's two games-- Final Fantasy IV (3D Remake) and FF IV: The After Years+. They come with updated graphics, improved gameplay, and added voice acting for event scenes. The fourth instalment of the iconic Final Fantasy series is the first title to introduce the Active Time Battle system. It also allows players to move, act, and battle at their own pace, but within a particular time window.

Apple Arcade currently houses more than 250 titles including NFL Retro Bowl '25, NBA 2K25 Arcade Edition and more. It is an ad-free gaming platform exclusively for Apple device owners. In India, it costs Rs 99 per month for individuals.

Apple Arcade is also available via the Apple One bundle plan ( along with TV+, Cloud+, starting 50GB, and Music subscription), which starts at Rs 195 for individuals and for families (up to five members with 200GB iCloud) at Rs 365 per month).

In a related development, Apple is planning to enter the smart home sector in 2025. It is said to be ready with a new iPad-like 6-inch smart display with speakers and a camera. It will act as a smart home hub to control Internet-of-Things (IoT) gadgets at home.

It will support not just Apple products, but also third-party smart home devices with Matter certification.

It should be noted that Apple, Amazon, Google, iRobot, Signify, Connectivity Standards Alliance (previously known as Zigbee Alliance), standards-- 'Matter'. This allows all smart home devices with different operating systems to work seamlessly with digital assistants such as Siri (with Apple Intelligence), Alexa, and Google Assistant.

The specification for Matter v1.0 standard was released in 2022 and since then, several certified products have made their way to store shelves.
