Popular technology majors such as Samsung, Lenovo, Sony, Xiaomi, and Gioni among other launched new smartphones, laptops, and accessories such as earphones and wireless speakers this week (February 28-March 6).

Lenovo Yoga 6 laptop series
Lenovo Yoga 6 sports a 13.3-inch full HD (1920 x 1080p) with a peak brightness of 300 nits, 72% NTSC, Active Area Ratio 88%, 10-point multitouch with direct glass bonding.
The device boasts a 360-degree hinge to offer an easy transition from tablet to laptop mode and back. It also allows intuitive navigation on the screen with the Lenovo digital pen that supports up to 4,096-level pressure sensitivity while browsing, sketching, streaming, and creating.
Inside, it comes packed with AMD Ryzen 7 4700U Processor, AMD Radeon Graphics, Windows 10 Home OS, support to 16GB DDR4 RAM, up to 1TB storage (SSD PCIe M.2), 60 WHr cell with up to 18 hours battery life, 1MP Lenovo TrueBlock privacy camera, IR Camera, Dual Microphone, stereo speakers, and optimised with Dolby Atmos.
The new Yoga 6 laptop is available for pre-order on Lenovo.com at the price of Rs 86,990. It will go on sale on March 10 across Lenovo.com, Amazon and Flipkart, and will be available across offline retail channels later.
Sony PCM-A10 sound recorder
The new PCM-A10 supports an adjustable microphone setting. The zoom setting captures conversations with optimum clarity and is perfect for small business meetings or tutorials, the company claims.
For solo performances or small band sessions, the XY setting with performers close to the microphone offers natural sound and depth.
PCM-A10 is compact and light and offers 15 hours of battery life. With the REC Remote app, available on Google Play for Android or the App Store for iOS devices, users can easily start and stop recordings, adjust levels and settings, and even add track marks, all other features with the smartphone. The app lets you control your recorder wirelessly using Bluetooth technology. Sony PCM-10 costs Rs 18,990 in India.
EPOS Adapt 100 series
The ADAPT 100 Series boasts proprietary EPOS Voice technology with a noise-canceling microphone to optimize the user’s voice and enhance their calls, and integrated EPOS ActiveGard technology protects users from acoustic shock.
As far as the design is concerned, it featuring large on-ear leatherette or foam earpads and an ergonomic, lightweight design. It has a discreet boom arm that neatly folds away into the headset when not in use allows for a seamless transition between calls and other tasks.
Plug and play device connectivity is also enabled on EPOS ADAPT 100 series through 3.5 mm jack, USB-A or USB-C connectors, allowing workers to easily switch between devices.
Gionee Max Pro
Gionee earlier this week unveiled the new phone Max Pro in India. It comes with a 6.52-inch HD+ (1560 × x72p) screen with 2.5D curved glass display, 1.6GHz Unisoc SC9863A octa-Core CPU with IMG8322 GPU, Android 10, 3GB RAM, 32GB (eMMC 5.1) storage (expandable up to 256GB), dual-camera module- main 13MP + Bokeh Lens with LED flash on the back, an 8MP front snapper, Dual SIM (nano + nano + microSD), 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio and a 6,000mAh battery. It costs Rs 6,999.
Michael Kors Gen 5E Darci
It can track the essential estimated health readouts such as heart rate, pace, distance, steps, and more. Also, it can track sleep patterns, monitor restfulness, and set sleep goals.
It also boasts a new tracker that shows an estimation of cardio fitness using resting heart rate and user biometrics (age, gender, weight) to display an approximated overall fitness level over time.
"With the Gen 5E’s ability to quickly charge (50 minutes to 80%) and enhanced battery modes, the watch can be worn all day and night. Charge while getting ready in the morning and go," the company said. It costs Rs 25,995.
Ambrane Dots 11, 20 series
Dots 20 comes with a minimalistic design is available in black as well as white colour. It is configured with the Environmental Noise Cancellation feature, which enhances the audio and reduces the ambient noise in the background. Its advanced acoustic technology with 10mm drivers punchy bass sound guarantees a rich audio experience. Along with an immersive audio experience, the buds offer 25 hours of battery life. It also features a responsive multifunctional touch sensor that lets you control music and calls, and switch between them seamlessly.
Available in black, Dots 11 features an ergonomic design with a matte finish. It promises powerful bass and crisp audio. The earbuds offer seamless entertainment of up to 20 hours and support fast charging via a Type C port. Dots 11 also supports smart touch control - touch and tap control for effortless and easy accessibility to play, pause and manage your music. The high-bass feature allows you to tune out from the outside noise, thereby giving you a premium sound quality to enjoy music while on the go.
Both the Dots 11 and Dots 20 are designed against water splashes with the IPX5 Water Resistant feature and costs the same Rs 2,999.
JBL Go 3, Clip 4 and Boombox 2 series
JBL Go 3 comes in a compact form and promises great sound and a long-lasting battery that made it a universal favourite of young music enthusiasts. It costs Rs 3,999.
JBL Clip 4 speaker features a rugged, waterproof & dustproof design along with a vibrant fresh look for adventure lovers who like to carry a compact and powerful sound everywhere they go. It costs Rs 4,499.
JBL Boombox 2 offers 24 hours of playtime and monstrous bass. The loud Boombox also comes with the JBL PartyBoost feature to create an even bigger sound by connecting other compatible JBL speakers. It costs Rs 33,999.
Samsung Galaxy A32
Galaxy A32 comes with a 6.4-inch full HD+ super AMOLED Infinity-U display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It supports a 90Hz display refresh rate, and offers up to 800 nits brightness.
Inside, it comes with a 12nm class MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core CPU, 950MHz ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU backed by Android 11-based One UI 3, 6GB LPDDR4x RAM, 128GB storage (expandable up to 1TB via micro SD card), and a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charger. It also supports an in-display fingerprint sensor and dual-SIM slots.
The Galaxy A32 also boasts quad-camera module-- a 64MP (f/1.8) + 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor (f/2.2 ) + 5MP depth sensor and 5MP macro sensor (f/2.4) with LED flash. On the front, it features 20MP (f/2.2) snapper for selfies and video calling. It costs 21,999.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 series
Xiaomi earlier in the week launched the new Redmi Note 10 series. Xiaomi's latest phone comes in three variants-- Redmi Note 10, 10 Pro, and 10 Pro Max-- with prices ranging from Rs 11,999 and Rs 21,999.
On paper, they come with one of the best camera and processor configuration for a mid-range phone in India.
