Samsung Galaxy A32 with quad-camera launched in India

World's leading smartphone-maker Samsung on Wednesday (March 3) launched the Galaxy A32, the second A series mobile in two weeks in India.

The new Galaxy A32 comes with a 6.4-inch full HD+ super AMOLED Infinity-U display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It supports a 90Hz display refresh rate, and offers up to 800 nits brightness.

Inside, it comes with a 12nm class MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core CPU, 950MHz ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU backed by Android 11-based One UI 3, 6GB LPDDR4x RAM, 128GB storage (expandable up to 1TB via micro SD card), and a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charger. It also supports an in-display fingerprint sensor and dual-SIM slots.

It also boasts quad-camera module-- a 64MP (f/1.8) + 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor (f/2.2 ) + 5MP depth sensor and 5MP macro sensor (f/2.4) with LED flash. On the front, it features 20MP (f/2.2) snapper for selfies and video calling.

Samsung Galaxy A32 also comes with the AltZLife feature. It promises to enhance smartphone privacy level. Users can quickly and easily switch between normal mode and private mode (Secure Folder) by simply double-clicking on the power key. The on-device AI function also intelligently suggests moving private content to the Secure Folder.

It comes in four colours-- black, blue, violet and white-- and costs Rs 21,999.

The Galaxy A32 goes up against the popular Realme Narzo 30 Pro, Samsung's own Galaxy F62, and Motorola Moto G 5G, among others.
