US President Joe Biden will speak shortly with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and will announce a new security assistance package, the White House said on Wednesday.
Biden will be traveling to Germany this week but will not be able to meet with Zelenskyy while the US president is in Europe, White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre said at a regular press briefing.
