Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of Canada could not leave New Delhi for Ottawa at the end of the G20 summit in the capital of India New Delhi due to technical glitches in his aircraft.

“Upon our departure for the airport, we were made aware by the Canadian Armed Forces that CFC001 was experiencing technical issues. These issues are not fixable overnight,” a spokesperson of the Canadian Prime Minister’s Office stated.

The CFC001 is the call sign of the special aircraft of the Canadian Prime Minister.

Trudeau attended the G20 summit in New Delhi on Saturday and Sunday. He also had a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the summit.

“Our delegation will be staying in India until alternate arrangements are made,” added the spokesperson of the office of Trudeau.
