Moscow: One man was killed and seven people were wounded in a Ukrainian attack on Russia's Belgorod region on the border with Ukraine, regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on Wednesday.

This comes days after a Russian missile struck a children's hospital in Kyiv.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi told President Vladimir Putin, if innocent children die in conflicts, it is heart-wrenching, when speaking about the missile strike by Russia on Ukraine’s largest hospital for treatment of minors suffering from cancer.
