Myanmar has turned into a warzone since the military coupCivil strife has echoed through Myanmar ever since the military ousted and detained civilian leader Aung San Suu Kyi on February 1, triggering mass protests demanding a return to democracy.People have been protesting day and night in Myanmar, demanding the release of Suu Kyi and the restoration of democracy. The protests have been marred with bloodshed as even minors being shot by the military. Thousands have been arrested but that has not demoralised the dissentors into backing down. Armed with homemade shields and hiding behind makeshift barriers, the protestors of Myanmar have not budged from their stance despite all the killings. There has been global outrage about the military coup but the military do not seem to change their position.
