Lavrov made the comments at the start of talks in Moscow with North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui.

Lavrov thanked Pyongyang for what he called its "principled position" on the war in Ukraine amid US claims that 10,000 North Korean troops have been deployed to Russia, something Moscow has neither confirmed nor denied.
