Thailand Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra met Myanmar junta leader Min Aung Hlaing on sidelines of regional summit in China on Thursday, Thai media reported.

Paetongtarn said she had a private conversation with the top general during which they proposed a good relationship to help foster peace in Myanmar, media outlets quoted her as saying.
