The online conversation between Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk appeared to be facing technical issues, around the time it was due to begin, with users reporting trouble accessing it on social media platform X.

Musk then said he would proceed with Trump conversation at 8:30 pm ET Monday (6 AM IST Tuesday) with a smaller number of listeners and post the audio afterward.

Musk later said on X, "There appears to be a massive DDOS attack on 𝕏. Working on shutting it down."

He further said, "Worst case, we will proceed with a smaller number of live listeners and post the conversation later."
