Kyiv: Ukraine's government approved changes to the 2024 budget law, increasing defence spending by ₴ 495.3 billion (Rs 99.51 crores), a senior government official said on Thursday.
Taras Melnychuk, a government representative in parliament, said the government approved the proposal at its meeting.
The government also proposes various tax increases. The decisions need to be approved by parliament.
