US Senate passes Ukraine aid bill, sends it to the House

The $95 billion aid bill was passed and sent to the House, but is unlikely to hold its ground there.

Washington: The Democratic-led US Senate passed a $95 billion bill containing aid for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan on Tuesday.

It was then sent the measure on to the Republican-controlled House of Representatives, where its chances of becoming law face long odds.
