<p> A 25-year-old management consultant, who was a doctor by training, jumped off the eighth floor of his office building in Connaught Place on Monday, police said. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Gaurav Muralidhar Patil, a native of Bhusawal in Maharashtra, was working as a consultant after completing his post graduation in business management from IIM, Kozhikode this year.<br />He jumped off the eighth floor of Ashoka Estate building at 9.30 am. <br /><br />Police said he left home after breakfast and reached office around 9 am. In office, he had a cup of tea and wrote a suicide note in English which he stuffed in wallet. Later he went to the stairway on his office floor and jumped off.<br /><br />He jumped through the gap between the staircase and landed on basement floor on his feet, as a result of which, his bones were crushed and got completely dislocated. <br />“He was rushed to Ram Manohar Lohia hospital where he was declared brought dead,” said a senior police officer. <br /><br />Police found a suicide note written by him where he stated that he committed suicide was in the search of truth. <br /><br />He also wanted his organs to be donated to needy after his death. “No one is responsible for my death and I am leaving this world in search of truth,” Patil writes in suicide note.<br /><br />Patil, a bachelor, lived with his roommate Ankit in West Patel Nagar in Central Delhi. He completed his MBBS from Maharashtra in 2009 and later pursued a programme in managament from Indian Institute of Management at Kozhikode.<br /><br />After finishing the course, he came to Delhi in June to work at Indian Medical Sciences Health information and Consulting Services at Ashoka Estate building.<br /><br />Ankit, a native of Jaipur in Rajasthan, told police that Patil used to keep to himself lately and was reading extensively on philosophy. <br /><br />However, he said he had no idea that Patil could ever resort to committing suicide. <br /></p>
