<p>Not many actors are fortunate like Malashree who still has a huge fan following and recognition especially with a hit number from her debut movie, writes Sreekantswamy B </p>.<p>Malashree may be several films old, but still she is popular among her fans for her hit song in debut film- Nanjundi Kalyana.<br /><br />It was proved yet again when the actor arrived at a theatre in the city recently for the promotion of her new release- Shakti. No sooner she stepped out of her car, a fan yelled- Nanjundi Kalyana, Raghavendra Raj Kumar and the lines of the song- Olage Seridare Gundu, Hudugi Aguvalu Gandu...<br /><br />He didn’t stop there. He repeated the same till the actor left the place. Malashree admitted that where ever she goes, people identify her only through that particular song. “ I love to do the films with similar roles (her launch pad),” said Malashree. <br /><br />For her Mysore too remains close to her heart. She said, most of her films then and also now have been shot in the city of palaces. “No films of mine were complete without shooting at a locale here”, said Malashree.<br /><br />On her hands at dubbing her voice in Shakti, a first such attempt, Malashree said she was waiting for the right time. According to Malashree, her voice wasn’t mature enough to lend voice on screen. She had dubbing artistes for help. Now, she is ecstatic for dubbing in her voice and will continue with it in future too.</p>.<p>Her action flicks from home banner- Ramu Productions- doesn’t stop here with her next release Veera on the floors.</p>
