<p>Four persons, including a businessman, have been arrested for alleged involvement in three separate incidents of rape in the Capital. <br /><br />A businessman has been arrested for raping a 13-year-old girl known to him in south-east Delhi’s Okhla.<br /><br />Mehandi Hassan, 29, of Tehkhand village in Okhla Industrial Area Phase II was held after the victim approached police on October 11.<br /><br />She told police that she knew Mehandi’s wife and had been visiting their house.<br /><br />“She claimed that in March, Mehandi gave her a glass of water laced with sedatives after which she fell unconscious. He then allegedly raped her,” said Ajay Chaudhry, additional commissioner of police (south-east).<br /><br />Mehandi also threatened her of dire consequences when she gained consciousness. “Thereafter, he managed to coerce and rape her several times,” Chaudhry added.<br /><br />Mehandi, who runs a travel ticketing business — Hasee Bee — at Bharat Nagar in New Friends Colony, fled to Malaysia in September after his wife found out that he had raped the 13-year-old.<br /><br />“We apprehended him as soon as he returned from Malaysia on October 15,” Chaudhry said.<br /><br />A case under section 376 (rape) and 328 (causing hurt by means of poison) of the Indian Penal Code has been lodged against Mehandi with Okhla Industrial Area police station.<br />Mehandi hails from Madhya Pradesh and holds a diploma in mechanical engineering. He married Chinese national Leo in 2006 but divorced her in 2008. He then married another woman who works as a secretary in his company.<br /><br />21-year-old nabbed<br /><br />A man was arrested for allegedly raping and taking obscene pictures of his 16-year-old neighbour in east Delhi’s Madhu Vihar after kidnapping her with two of his accomplices.<br /><br />It is alleged that Nirale Miya, 21, and his accomplices used to blackmail the victim. “Nirale was arrested on Friday in Hasanpur following a probe into the statement of the minor girl,” a police official said.<br /><br />The incident came to light after the victim informed her mother about Nirale’s activities.<br />Her mother then approached Madhu Vihar police station and lodged a complaint. The charges are of rape, kidnapping, extortion and wrongful restraint under sections 376, 366A, 384 and 341 of the Indian Penal Code.<br /><br />Two held for gang rape</p>.<p>Two men have been arrested for gang raping a girl in east Delhi’s Farsh Bazar.<br />The victim alleged that accused Vikas, 21, and Umesh, 26, both residents of Bhajanpura, along with three of their accomplices had kidnapped and gang raped her. <br /><br />She narrated the ordeal to her parents on October 3 after which they approached police.<br />“Vikas and Umesh were arrested on Friday, while the other three accused are absconding,” another official said.<br /><br /> A case of rape and kidnapping has been lodged with Farsh Bazar police station.<br /></p>
