<p> ABB India on Tuesday registered 13.3% growth in net profit at Rs 102 crore for the first quarter ended March 2018 compared with Rs 90 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.</p>.<p>The company’s total revenue rose 17.4% to Rs 2,525 crore compared with Rs 2,151 crore during the same quarter last year. </p>.<p>The company, which operates mainly in robotics, power, heavy electrical equipment, and automation technology, registered robust growth in operational EBITA for the quarter primarily due to cost savings, positive volume growth and higher absorption, a release said.</p>.<p>The company also received 2,582 orders during the first quarter, registering a growth of 10% year-on-year, it said.</p>
