They are in touch with the Department officials, he said. <br /><br />As the Apple aims a bigger share in one of the world's biggest smartphone markets, the company last week started making iPhone SE at its Taiwanese contract manufacturer Wistron's plant in Bengaluru. <br /><br />Total 72 new mobile manufacturing units have started in India in the last 30 months and created one lakh direct and 3 lakh indirect jobs. In 2016-17 17.5 crores hand sets have produced against 6 crore in 2014-15. <br /></div>
