Alphabet's Google has agreed to pay News Corp, the owner of Wall Street Journal, between $5 million and $6 million annually to develop new AI-related content, the Information reported on Tuesday.
The tech giant is looking at a variety of options, including incorporating AI-powered search features to its premium subscription services, which already provide access to its new Gemini AI assistant in Gmail and Docs, as per an earlier report in the Financial Times.
