The ProLiant Generation 7 (G7) servers come with mix of Intel and AMD powered processors, with upto 1 terabyte RAM capacity and sophisticated means of monitoring power and server health.
The 580 ProLiant G7 server is another which can scale upto 1 TB RAM, letting most applications and database to be mounted on RAM itself. HP 585 servers, which can scale upto 5GB of memory, come with enhanced virtualisation features.
Briefing reporters, HP India Industry Standard Servers Director Rajesh Dhar said the 32 sensors in the servers provide information on server’s health, performance and I/O availability.
