Sensex climbs 168.79 points; Nifty up to 24,518.30

This comes after equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty plunged more than 1% on Tuesday due to across-the-board selloff amid massive foreign fund exodus from the capital markets and sluggish global equities.

Sensex climbed 168.79 points to 80,389.51 in early trade on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Nifty went up 46.2 points to 24,518.30.
