<p>Sonata Software Limited, a mid-sized IT solutions company, on Wednesday announced a grant to International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIIT-B).</p>.<p>In a release issued by the company, the grant will support scientific research for accelerating digital and platform-based business transformation. The three-year project, funded to the tune of Rs 1.05 Crores, will focus on research fellowship and evangelization of technology for platform- based digital business transformation. </p>.<p>Commenting on the development, Sonata Software MD & CEO Srikar Reddy said the company believes in nurturing relationships with leading academic institutions as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.</p>.<p>"This initiative with IIIT-B should help unlock the potential for platform based digital transformation that Sonata has been propagating.
