Mahogany trees of over one-metre girth, honge, peepal and Jamun trees are among those identified.</p>.<p>Multiple road projects have already felled 2,347 trees on the city’s outskirts, including K R Puram, Yelahanka, Devanahalli, Nelamangala and Doddaballapura, says a report by the University of Agricultural Sciences, Gandhi Krishi Vigyana Kendra (GKVK).</p>.<p>A total of 52 trees are to be translocated in Benniganahalli as they come in the way of the Metro alignment. As many as 910 saplings will be planted nearby to compensate for this.</p>
