If government continues with it, then our demand is that Bible and Quran also should be taught in schools. Bringing religion into schools will inculcate communal feelings among children that may lead them to hate for other religions, he added.<br /><br />The government should introduce Masters Course on Ambedkar ideologies in all Universities across the State. A directorate for hostels should be introduced following the recommendations of Guruprasad report. The conditions of hostels in the State are worst. <br /><br />Minimum basic infrastructural facilities are not provided to the inmates. “In Udupi, we visited couple of hostels which are in a very bad condition. There is no security for the girls’ hostels, no proper food is served to the inmates and also there is no good library. Student scholarship amount should be hiked,” he added.<br /><br />Samatha Sainik Dal Students Federation will be organising 3rd State-level conference in Bangalore on August 26. As many as 5000 students are expected to participate in the conference. Simultaneously, the Federation is planning to protest against government and to burn the effigy of Primary and Secondary Education Minister Vishweshwara Hegde Kageri on the occasion, he added.<br /><br /></p>
