<p>Tulu movie ‘Chandikori’ by Bolli Movies entered the 100th day of its screening on Saturday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Bolli Movies will celebrate at Town Hall on January 4, with the patronage of the people, said Director and Actor Devadas Kapikad. Briefing mediapersons on Saturday, he said that only a few of the 60-odd Tulu movies released have achieved this feat. All stakeholders of the movie will be honoured, he added.<br /><br />Records set<br />The movie has been running successfully at Kalpana theatre in Udupi and Suchitra talkies and Big Cinemas in Mangaluru the last 100 days. The box office at Suchitra has witnessed a record-breaking collection with an average daily collection of Rs 1 lakh. ‘Chandikori’ has also is also the first Tulu movie to run for 100 days in any theatre in Udupi. The movie has reached 50 days at Nataraj theatre, Surathkal. <br /><br />A recent screening of the movie in London attracted 175 viewers and plans are afoot to organise a second screening for those who missed it. The movie has been screened at Kuwait, Bahrain as well and plans are on to screen it in Dubai, Qatar, Muscat and Australia.<br /> </p>
