The quake occurred at 1.43 am, at a depth of 10 km under the seabed, 210 km southwest of Bali, an official of the agency told Xinhua on phone. No tsunami warning was issued.
Indonesia sits on a vulnerable quake-hit zone called the "Pacific Ring of Fire".
