<p>Madras Engineering Group (MEG) & Centre staged a superb comeback to clinch a 3-2 win over Rail Wheel Factory (RWF) in the BDFA Super Division football league tie at the Bangalore football stadium here on Friday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>After a lacklustre first period, MEG came alive in the second and found the back of the net three times to pocket full three points.<br /><br />Two back-to-back strikes in the space of four minutes from Ayush (81st minutes) and Dipan Thapa (84th) turned the tide in favour of MEG after Liton Shil had scored an equaliser in the 47th minute. <br /><br />Earlier, Nanda Kumar had opened the scoring for RWF in the second minute before Shamanth had again put them ahead in the 79th minute.<br /><br />The result puts MEG in the second spot, with 16 points from seven matches while RWF languish in the eighth spot with three points from their seven games.<br /><br />Student Union lead the league table with 19 points from their seven games.<br /><br />In the ‘A’ Division, Jawahar Union were held to a 2-2 draw by Bangalore Eagles.<br /><br />Sunil netted the opener for Eagles in the 18th minute but Nihal brought Jawahar level in the 48th minute. <br /><br />Philip then put Jawahar ahead two minutes later.
