<p align="justify" class="title">The posters of Rishab Shetty and Hariprriya starrer 'Bell Bottom' are out and the first thing that catches your attention is the 'retro feel' that is given to the actors. The idea, says Hariprriya, is to rekindle the spirit of the 70s and 80s.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">Sharing her experience, Hariprriya says, that she plays the character of Kusuma which is a perfect contrast to the role of a detective played by Rishab Shetty. "My job (in the film) is to misguide him and steer his investigations in the wrong direction. Mine is an interesting character. None of the characters are premeditated but go with the flow," she says.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">The actor points out that there's a great deal of research that has gone into understanding her character. "I was born in the 1990s and I have no clue of how life was in the 70s and 80s. So I watched several films from that period to gain an insight into the body language, costume and working style of the people of that time," says the actor. She feels that every detail from body language to styling has been worked upon to ensure that every character is given a different look and feel.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">About her appearance in the film, Hariprriya says "The costumes have been designed by Pragathi Shetty. We have used wink eyeliner to accentuate the eyes. The prints, designs and fabric used in the 70s and 80s have been replicated in this film. The earrings are kept big and round, the chains too are long with a big pendant and bangles too are plain and simple. These details complete the retro look."</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">The actor shares that it is not only the script and characterisation that is strong, the many workshops and script reading sessions have strengthened the performance and lent lot a lot of value to the project. "These additions have ensured that the characters effortlessly blend into each other," she says.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">'Bell Bottom' is directed by Jayatheertha and Hariprriya is more than happy to unite with him again after 'Bullet Basya'. "I also signed this project because I am comfortable with the team. Working with Jayatheertha is an experience in itself," she signs off.</p>
