<p>The Election Commission on November 10 declared the winner of Jhajha Assembly Constituency (AC No 242) in Jamui district which went to polls on October 28, 2020.</p>.<p>Damodar Rawat of the Janata Dal (United) won the Jhajha seat beating Rashtriya Janata Dal candidate Rajendra Prasad by a margin of 1679 votes.</p>.<p>In Bihar Assembly Election 2015, BJP candidate Rabindra Yadav won Jhajha constituency seat with a margin of 13.5% securing 65537 votes against JD(U) candidate Damodar Rawat.</p>
