<p>The Election Commission on November 10 declared the winner of Gobindpur Assembly Constituency (AC No 238) in Nawada district which went to polls on October 28, 2020.</p>.<p>Md Kamran of the Rashtriya Janata Dal won the Gobindpur seat beating Janata Dal (United) candidate Purnima Yadav by a margin of 33,074 votes.</p>.<p>In Bihar Assembly Election 2015, Congress candidate Purnima Yadav won the Gobindpur constituency seat with a margin of 3.1% securing 43,016 votes against BJP candidate Fula Devi.<br /> </p>
