Mahavir said, 'I voted for the one who works for the poor, farmers, labourers, traders, and to ensure peace and order in the state.'

Former wrestler and uncle of Vinesh Phogat, Mahavir Phogat said on Saturday after casting his vote in Balali, "I voted for the one who works for the poor, farmers, labourers, traders, and to ensure peace and order in the state...Deepender Hooda has brought her (Vinesh Phogat) into politics for his own political gain."

The voting, which began at 7 am, will conclude at 6 pm, while the counting of votes will be taken up on October 8.
